Private lesson for 3-4-year-old children
30 minutes long first-time skiing lesson is good way to get the first experience of this fascinating hobby. Within that time the little ones will take their first steps on snow, learn about balance, and discover the sensation of sliding on snow on very easy gentle slope. We want that child is having happy experience on snow at the first lesson(s) without getting too tired.
In case the child gets excited and wants to continue the lesson and has energy for it, it can be continued with extra 20 minutes (22€ additional fee). 3- to 4 years old child are very different on their moving ability; some kids are more active - and sporty, with good motoric skills than other ones. Private lesson is always proceeding according to the participants' age and development of the skills.
Usually it takes two to three 30min / 50min lessons making nice exercises hand-in-hand with an instructor to become a happy independent snow plough skier. After each lesson it is good to have hot chocolate, lunch and warm up brakes, to stay in happy mood, and then keep practicing on your own.
Rosa & Rudolf Family Park is best place to learn to ski and snowboard. It is large and great beginners area with 5 magic carpet-lifts and very gentle slopes, ski-carousel, tubing and playground areas, and nice warm-up-hut.
When kids have become independent snow plough skiers at Rosa & Rudolf Family Park, then we will continue next lesson(s) on blue slopes, and learn to use other lifts too.
Ski passes for the first time skiing / snowboarding beginners lesson
If you are complete beginner, you will need for the first 2 lesson at least the Rosa & Rudolf Family Park - ticket (10€/person/day). You may also upgrade that ticket to include use of the Gondola lift. The upgrade fee is kids up to 11yrs: 8€, and teen & adults: 12€.
For your next lesson(s) to improve your skills to next level, usually during the 3rd lesson you should be ready to learn to use other lifts (pole-lift, Gondola-lift, chair-lifts) and ski/board down at blue level slopes - then you'll need normal lift ticket.
Note! Kid's under 6 years old with helmt, will get a free-of-charge lift ticket, if their parent has a valid lift ticket (for the same period). That ticket includes entrance to Family Park and use of all the lifts.
